Home is ultimately not about a place to live but about the people with whom you are most fully alive.
Our culture is hooked on continually congregating, at coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and anywhere friendships grow. In fact, relational drama comes as we try to include too many people in our inner circles.
I’ll admit it- I’m sick of seeing people get into other’s lives just to try to change them. From body, to soul, to spirit. We give way too much power to people too often.
During times of tragedy or big decisions, it is those who have your back who will also share your heart.
Stay near those who celebrate you and never attempt to change the essence of who you are as a creation of God. If they try, saturate their life with your absence!
Jesus Christ fed five thousand people, but only poured into twelve.
Evaluate the relationships in your life based on who makes you feel…at home.
Sell all other real estate or do massive renovation.
